We hadn’t originally planned to start our new school year until next week. However, since Hayden’s last week of public school is this week, the kids decided they wanted to start this week instead. That way, they could have the next two weeks off with Hayden before he starts his summer cross-country practices and before they get going with their school year in earnest.
So alas, here we are, on our FIRST day of the new 2016-2017 school year with Holden as an official 3rd grader and Haylee as an official 7th grader! It was a great first day of school, and the kids seemed to enjoy all of their new curriculum changes.
If today is any indication, I think it’s going to be a GREAT year!
